All healthcare employees, regardless of their role, are required to take this training. This includes doctors, dentists, nurses, receptionists, and all other part-time employees. New-hire employees must also complete the HIPAA training within ten days of hire to ensure they are familiar with the essential privacy and safety regulations from the start of their employment.
You have up to 90 days to take and review the training courses offered by HIPAA University. This time frame provides ample opportunity to understand the material thoroughly and prepare for the final exam, which you can retake unlimited times to ensure you earn your certification.
